Certifications
The company has implemented and actively maintained an Integrated Management System for many years, in order to improve the monitoring and oversight of all its business processes. The system is certified by SGS Italia S.p.a. in accordance with the UNI EN 14001:2015, 45001:2018 and 9001:2015 standards.
The company is also certified for the end-of-waste processes for certain types of iron, steel, aluminium, copper and alloy scrap metals, in accordance with EU Regulations 333/2011 and 715/2013.
- UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
Issued for the first time in 2010 by SGS Italia S.p.a, this certification has allowed the company to significantly improve the documentation and operational management of its business processes related to environmental management. The new integrated management system compliant with the new UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard was implemented on 01/06/2018.
- UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 QUALITY CERTIFICATION
In order to guarantee high quality standards for our products and improve the management of our sales division, the Integrated Environment and Quality Management System was implemented by integrating the provisions of the ISO 9001 standard regarding purchase and sales contract management, commercial offer management, company regulations, business process management, etc., within the EMS.
The new integrated management system compliant with the provisions of the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard became effective on 10/09/2018.
- UNI ISO 45001:2018 OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION
In order to ensure high safety standards in all its activities and to better protect the health of its workers, in 2014 the company obtained certification for its occupational health and safety management system.
- REG. UE 333/2011
In 2011, European Regulation no. 333 came into force, which establishes the “End of Waste” (EOW) process, whereby scrap iron, steel, aluminium, and their alloys cease to be considered waste and, after careful controls and certain recovery operations, are transformed into “EOW” products. Every Waste recovery plant that wishes to comply must establish a certified quality management system based on the provisions of the aforementioned regulation.
- REG. UE 715/2013
In 2013, European Regulation no. 715 came into force, which, following its predecessor, established the standardised Process for all member states whereby scrap copper and alloys cease to be considered waste and are transformed into “EOW products”. The requirements and conditions indicated are the same as those contained in Regulation no. 333.
