Metfer S.r.l. has 2 locations: a historical legal and operational headquarters at Via Caboto 20 in Trieste, and a recently established local operational unit on Strada della Rosandra S.N., situated between the municipalities of Trieste and S. Dorligo della Valle.
Metfer S.r.l. – Via Caboto, 20 – Trieste
is the historic headquarters of the company, founded in the early 2000s by the Montrone family, it houses the group’s management, administrative and technical offices, as well as the operating plant for the treatment of scrap metal, WEEE and parts of end-of-life vehicles, with the production of secondary materials of scrap metal of iron, steel, aluminum, copper and their alloys, certified pursuant to EU REG. 333/2011 and 715/2013.
Metfer S.r.l. – Strada della Rosandra S.N. – Trieste
is a local operating unit of the company that was recently acquired (2016), houses the operating plant specialized in the storage and preliminary mechanical treatment of NON-hazardous NON-metallic urban and special waste, such as: paper and cardboard, plastic and rubber, inert materials (glass, ruins, etc.) gypsum-based materials, insulating materials, filter materials, mixed construction and demolition materials, bulky waste, wood, etc. The site is also specialized in the treatment of cables with metal conductors by shredding.
