Permit for the Plant on Via Caboto:

The plant has obtained a single environmental permit (autorizzazione unica ambientale – AUA) pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 59/2013, which supersedes the following previous permits:

• discharges of industrial waste water into the sewers referred to in Chapter II, Title IV, Section II, Part Three of Legislative Decree no. 152/2006;
• atmospheric emissions for facilities pursuant to art. 269 of Legislative Decree no. 152/2006;
• noise impact pursuant to law no. 447 of 26 October 1995;
• recovery of non-hazardous waste pursuant to art. 216 of Legislative Decree no. 152/2006.

The correct wording to be entered into the appropriate fields of the FIR as of 23/06/2016 is the following: “DET. No. 806 of 21/06/2016”
The permit has a duration of 15 years from the assessment’s date of issue (until 21/06/2031).

The plant is certified for the processing of iron, steel, aluminium, copper, and alloy scrap metal for the production/marketing of “EOW” products in accordance with EU Regulations 333/2011 and 715/2013.

Waste treatment plants – Via Caboto

Permit for the plant on Strada della Rosandra:

The plant on Strada della Rosandra S.n. has an Ordinary Permit (AU) for non-hazardous waste recovery activities pursuant to Art. 208 of Legislative Decree no. 152/06, as amended.

The latest decree in force is Decree no. 4642/AMB of 20/11/2020.

Field 5 of the FIR must indicate the recovery activity for which the R12 waste is destined for ALL EER CODES transported to our facility, EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING EER CODES: 160103 – 160106 – 160214 – 170802 – 200136, for which only the R13 recovery activity must be indicated.
EER codes 170604 – 170904 can be subjected to R13 and R12 recovery activities directly at the facility. The permit is valid until 29/09/2024.

The plant specialises in the recovery of the following non-hazardous non-metallic waste materials:
PAPER, PLASTICS, GLASS, WOOD, MIXED PACKAGING, INERT CONSTRUCTION/DEMOLITION MATERIALS, INSULATION MATERIALS, CARDBOARD, FILTER MATERIALS, AND BULK WASTE. The office must be contacted to make a booking prior to delivery.

Waste treatment plants – Strada Rosandra

Waste Transport Permits from the National Register of Environmental Managers (ANGA):

Metfer srl is registered with the National Register of Environmental Managers, with ordinary permit no. TS00380 for the following categories and classes

• CAT. 1F (D5E) from 03/05/2021 to 03/05/2026: Transport of NON-hazardous municipal waste and transport of municipal waste from waste sorting yards;
• CAT. 4C from 20/09/2022 to 20/09/2027: Transport of Non-Hazardous Special Waste
• CAT. 5F from 07/12/2021 to 07/12/2026:Transport of hazardous waste;
